@jeff @djsumdog i know elon hating is in fashion but like. find anyone with skin in the game that has anything nice to say about him, at any point in his career.most super elites have this. soros is human garbage but internally considered very skilled and effective. gates actually did design shit once. jobs was great at sales and curation. buffet makes good (and very, very patient) trades. ford was often panned for "just being a businessman" but yet, did that well.nobody is really sure what elon has ever actually done.

@icedquinn @djsumdog @magicalthinking @subnetterI like how the #Tesla #Cybertruck looks, but I've heard it's a nightmare to own.I also am the only person I know who appreciates #Brutalism, so that's probably a factor in that as well lol.I'd never own a #Tesla because I think I'd always want a vehicle that I can put gas in. I'd take a #PHEV over an #EV any day. But I also hear that teslas in general are nice to drive, I'd consider renting one on a vacation trip or something.

@realcaseyrollins @djsumdog @magicalthinking @subnetter electric cars are quieter which is probably a lot of it.big problem is that he's trying to cultivate an image of high status, but he treats all his workers like shit and tries to cut corners like its cheap budget imports, and those two things don't really go together. for trump's faults he at least understands that the elite hotel has to be clean and polished if you're going to charge 1,000$ a night.when you're rolls royce and you're about to hawk a car for 300,000$ you cut zero corners. whoever the fuck is about to drop 300,000$ on a car will be extremely upset if the panels fall off and it rusts.
