       So uuh, looks like my coworkers were right about SUNLU filament because it seems like it broke the printer :throwing-hands-up-crying: I noticed that my last print failed and now I know why (filament wasn't coming out). Tried unloading it (which also failed) and had to do a cold-pull.Frustrated I tossed that spool of SUNLU PLA filament into the "investigation/recycling" pile, tried loading Anycubic PETG but printer is just... not taking it.I'm still new to 3D printing so have no idea how to troubleshoot it, hopefully it's a clogged nozzle (and not dead filament motor). TH looks... pretty intimidating to disassemble. Any tips?

       @elly have you tried manually pushing the filament in? idk where the feed stepper is on this one, but you should be able to release tension on it and keep pushing it manually by hand. does it not want to come in?are the temps alright for the material? what if you bump them by 20°C?have you tried getting the hotend up to temp and then pushing something thin (like a needle) into the hole? i unclogged stuff like this a bunch of times

It didn't take it, I just bent the filament (get bent, lmao)> are the temps alright for the material? what if you bump them by 20°C?I assume so? Haven't had issues until this point and I went trough 1kg spool of filament at this point> have you tried getting the hotend up to temp and then pushing something thin (like a needle) into the hole? i unclogged stuff like this a bunch of timesThat I didn't try, will need to find a sacrificial needle

It didn’t take it, I just bent the filament (get bent, lmao)manually push the filament in. don’t ask the printer to extrude it. heat up the hotend, push on the tensioning lever (there should be one next to the stepper), try pushing it into the hotend as far as it goes. it should start stringing on the other side, that’s goodThat I didn’t try, will need to find a sacrificial needlejust use one that you previously used for inj, it’s not like the printer will care
