       @Cheshire_Ocelot :thinkinghrr: By official standards yes, Patchy should very much be a frail and thin book nerd. She's got several forms of weakness and regularly goes without caring for her health or eating. Anything she does do is done with magic, and even then her speed casting is one step away from setting off her asthma at any point. But well, you can't expect fan artists to really stick to that. For some reason the standard is book nerd = big boobed hidden beauty, so it's how it goes.

       @Cheshire_Ocelot That left me wondering where some of the features came from.Her dress in some appearances looks like it has stripes of purple and violet but according to ZUN, they are not stripes. Yeah, ZUN probably wanted to draw folds in EoSD and screwed up a bit. IaMP and SWR portraits are official as well, through not drawn by ZUN, and while in IaMP she's only shown from the back, the SWR portrait clearly doesn't have stripes. The rest matches... though in The Grimoire of Marisa (also official and non-ZUN), she does have stripes.As for the bewbs, it's hard to tell since ZUN draws everyone rather flat, expect for a few characters in the later games, and other official portraits kind of obscure that area. But I like Flatchouli more.

       @grips even in ZUN’s art, she doesn’t look like she has large breasts to me. My assumption has always been that those come from fanartists and their preferences.
