@tartley I wouldn't call a lake boat in Minnesota a "private yatch," my friend. Boats are neat. Massive, mullti-million dollar mega-yatchs are another thing entirely.

I want a progressive tax of 90% on individuals making over $10 million annually, a 100% marginal tax on income over $100 million annually. Plus, a compounding 50% tax for any executive or board member's salary after a pay disparity of 5:1 with the company's lowest-paid employee (which grows by 50% for each point above 5:1). Also, a 1,500% tax on grotesque luxury items like private yatchs, private jets, and limousines (even rentals). That's *starting* to seem fair.

@gardiner_bryant Yeah but then CEOs would have to choose between paying taxes or actually investing back into their companies, potentially even paying their employees more....ooh, I see.

@gardiner_bryant thought something similar yesterday but tied it to a state median. Want more money, raise the bottom. Also if they want to buy property in n-number of locations they should be paying income taxes at each. We don't need investment and vacation properties.

@gardiner_bryant Remember to tax wealth, not just income.
