       @stux you can still find #MAGA accounts on the fedithey are two day old accounts with no followersand when i find them, i report them, and *poof*blissmy only sadness is when, such as yesterday, i hit submit, and i got "record not found"because in the time between starting and ending my report, a mod had already taken care of them off of other people's reportsand so:1. thank you #mods and #admins of the #fediverse2. thank you fellow mastodonics for using that report button

       @stuxCareful. In my experience the Fediverse already has Russian influencer trolls. Considering that in some countries it's already the leading short message social media platform, that's not surprising that Putin's hybrid war artillery has broken re-aligned onto the new target.

       @stux There may not be any visible Nazi trolls other than on a few instances most other instances defederated a long time ago, but there are right-wing bastards on the Fediverse who stay below the radar, they're using large instances and not really breaking the rules so the mods can't kick them out. And they're following many leftists, archiving and screenshooting our posts, making lists, reporting people to the cops. If you want a real safe space on the Internet, you need to build a darknet one, running on hidden services only accessible through networks like Tor or I2P, where everyone is anonymous.
