       @EUCommission Good thinking. Because the people of Europe don't pay enough already  for climate control. More, better, bigger AI ! Have the citizen pay untill they have nothing left! Who cares about climate control anyway!

       @EUCommission I like most topics but are worried that the only spezific one is AI Gigafactories. Microchip ecosystem in Europe and strengthening open source would be great but AI should be build on specific needs and good regulations. How AI will improve energy system I don’t see and have not found anything specific in the linked article.        @EUCommission If there is an aim for AI, I hope there is a proposal for sustainable data-centers.Then I would be worried which data would it be gathering to teach those AI models.As for Open-Source, is there a plan for migration from Windows to GNU/Linux or FreeBSD and a requirement for phone manufacturers to allow users to install on their phones different operating systems with ease, (e.g. how it works on most laptops)?If yes then splendid. đź‘Ť

       @EUCommission - why is it then so hard to really start building. Everybody is looking at each other about the money, permits, ecological issues, national laws, etc... It's all looking great, but we are DECADES behind the US and the slow administration in EU will it only make worse.

       @EUCommission Why aren't most, if not all, european institutions using european tech alternatives if you want to advance tech soverignity? Please introduce some measure to stimulate the national goverments and institutions to move to local alternatives as well! The news that the European Parliment is going to start using Qwant as a default search engine is great but so much more needs to be done...

       @EUCommission I'm hoping by "expanding AI capacity" you're talking about the old definition rather than LLMs.It would be nice if this is cleared up - one would not be a wise investment, but the other would be great news for STEM.
