       I'm watching Sony State of Play and tbh I can't attach any of this to any reason I originally enjoyed playing video games. I don't know to which extent I changed, or games changed.

       @sun mhh last time i watched it i also felt nothing. and i can still get excited about video games. less than 10 years ago but still. i think we nowadays have so many good and exciting games, we dont need anything generic new. and many new games are unimaginative arena shooter bullshit.  or present themself with graphics rather than gameplay. looking forward to the gothic 1 remake. but i never preorder so i can wait for the reviews before ill buy. tbf thats also a nostalgia game for me, since i played the shit out of gothic 2 as a small cricket. never got into the first part, so a remake is ideal.

       @sun don't know what it is about sony but i also feel their games are just not very interesting these days. although i also didn't like their stuff that much during the ps1 era either.

       @sun @lain third party studios have been doing the heavy lifting for so long anyway and when they get too good they seem to get acquired and made bad to level the playing field

       @sun@shitposter.world they mainly just do expensive live service slop and expensive movie games and even as someone who likes expensive movie games theirs have gotten really dull and unfun
