       One gigabyte to download Qemu, a quarter of a gigabyte of Fiwix, and there is a virtual computer...How much would I have to study to truly understand this system?x86, Qemu, C, POSIX, Fiwix source, packages (GNU & others)Good God even at the height of my brain power this would take months and months just to get a baseline.  The esoterica could consume lifetimes.

       @carapace in general, qemu is, what, 10 MB or so, and you just take it as given.The rest, you go in in layers and sections. It’ll work over time.
