       @7666It's federally illegal to restrict TV antennas. I can have the biggest ugliest yagi up on the roof and if they do anything about it, the FCC crawls up their ass on my behalf.The FCC is one of the few federal agencies I would never fuck around with.

       @cjdMy pappy did it befo' me. We had the only house in the subdivision with an antenna of any kind. They bitched and whined and "assessed fees". Their lawyer was sent a copy of OTARD and told we'd put it in the attic if they paid our mortgage.        One thing that drives me a bit nuts about Americans is everybody's always suing everybody all of the time.And I mean, it's not YOUR fault - I'm sure your HOA people are absolute dickheads, because HOAs seem to always be run by total dickheads.I don't understand how somebody can want to be in a conflict with their neighbors. And then I don't understand how that conflict can stay in this state of stupid petty rules bickering - like - forever. Nobody ever actually goes over and lights the guy's car on fire.In Europe, people are generally very respectful of their neighbors and try hard to make harmony with each other - and if somebody REALLY over-steps the line, the punishment is pretty brutal.

       @cjdWe just don't like the idea of paying for a home for 30 years and being told what we can and cannot do with it. And HOAs are generally ran by bored housewives with crippling USI. Everyone loves Karens getting judicially raped, there's entire YouTube channels dedicated to it and I'm considering starting one now that I know the formula and I have an LLM suite capable of making phone calls and sending faxes @7666
