       I'm kinda stubborn so I'm doing kind of a soft boycott of the Steam store for a while. Just cross-referencing my wishlist, and anything that's also on Switch or JAST, I'm going to try to buy there instead. If it's a Steam exclusive, then it is what it is.

       @BigShellEvent More a personal matter, VN I backed on kickstarter rejected by Valve for sexually explicit content when it literally doesn’t even have any. It shows they played about 20 minutes. And when the dev tried to get an explanation it was corporate BS like we expect creators to know their own content. So they got it published on JAST instead. Steam bans VN’s all the time with no rhyme or reason- they even got Chaos Head temporarily but they were big enough to fight it.

       @aceattveg What VN is it? Damn. I'm too ace to enjoy genuinely sexual content, but I also found at least in Japanese VN landscape, the most experimental and interesting work are the eroge. Like no other genre will allow that degree of narrative experiment, so people who want to make non sexual VN make "eroge" with skippable pasted on sex scenes that no one cared about.This is really disappointing

       @BigShellEvent it’s a sequel, but the first game is worth checking out. It’s not really sexual at all, except maybe some suggestive CG’s or remarks, more so unsettling and surreal. The hook is that the story starts after a Persona type adventure is already over and they’re dealing with the aftermath of that- but that is a little misleading since it goes off in a whole other direction too. https://thepensword64.itch.io/sirens-call-second-wind

       @BigShellEvent Also I generally agree on eroge, won’t generally go through the trouble to patch if the content is not already there- it’s not that I don’t enjoy that sort of thing, but more- there’s a time and a place, and gaming/reading time is not when I want to be distracted by a 15 minute orgy unrelated to the main plot

       @BigShellEvent I’m a little unclear on that since it may just be the same characters in a new scenario. It’s not out until Fall. But I’d check the first out if you’re ever in the mood. Keep in mind that it’s basically a very low budget one man operation as far as the writing and overall design with some artwork being outsourced.
