@nerthos its always migraine season for me tbh. the concussions will do that to ya. you should really try out Elden Ring Reforged. They have private server multiplayer together! we could rip some legacy dungeons coop when i have real internet again someday

@vriska That's really good, black flame ball was one of my favourites since it works on every enemy. Probably half of Melania's health went down with her on black fire when I did that part.What armor and sword are you going for? or will you just change them as needed?

@nerthos yeah they had a huge update recently that adds private server multiplayer and its super cool. you'll love all the balance changes and stuff. it makes every single build and weapon viable if you know what you're doing. no more gay ass meta

FromSoft always fucks up with the balance and their hatred for players just having fun.I'm sold I'm booking you for one or two nights of playing elden ring a week when internet is back.Though I'll probably go for plate armor int and swords/spears again it's the comfiest

@nerthos speaking of fun, ERR even has adjustable difficulty settings so if you want to not beat your head against artificial difficulty or have a tiny little power fantasy you can!

@vriska Huh that's great. Games should have difficulty sliders.Personally, as long as hitboxes make sense and there's no cheap bullshit, I'm happy with hard games. Sadly most of the "hard" in souls games is huge hitboxes and holes in the ground/environmental status effect.The few times they give you the freedom to play without hindrances it's really easy, like the dragons in open world.Sekiro is the exception it's pretty decent.

@vriska I did everything that could be done in one playthrough and ended up in level 236 or so (with 30 vit lmao why was mad about it)Just the one character tho. I think I did the normal elden lord ending, it's been a while. I did make a copy of the save right before to see the different cutscenes.

@vriska It's enough to survive one hit with good armor! and I prioritized being able to equip as many weapons and spells as possible over taking more hits. Though it did make Godfrey a pain in the ass to beat.
