       i really wish people stopped putting flags in their bio to show ideological support or agreement because it just means that i, as a Taiwanese person, can’t put my own flag in my own profile or I’ll be seen as an American imperialist and colonist despite literally being the colonised

       @twinkle i was not aware people assumed that. i usually ask because i have met both people who hate their original place and have traumas and people who dont and love it and would like that it did not turn like that...But is true the people who have a disconnection is more common I think?

       @twinkle sometimes my question comes in form of "and I guess you also hate your place and dont want anything to do with it" in case they told me something traumatic and is a way to ensure if it is a thing or the other.
