       @icedquinn @babble_endanger The amount of land required to power a country with solar farms is still a fraction of what is used by urban sprawl and what's used to grow corn used to produce ethanol as a national fuel security hedge in a lot of countries. Heck some countries are even doing things like allowing people to purchase or rent capacity from solar farms which helps drive their investment and deployment even if they can't as renters or other reasons like being in an appartment but still getting the benefit of much cheaper electricity and feed in tariffs if you're not using it.That ignores that solar farms can be used with agricultural farms called Argovoltaics producing farms with dual sources of income and in some cases creating shelter for livestock and improving the harvest yields.
