@p @ins0mniak Well if you enjoyed Natural Born Killers you may enjoy True Romance. Tony Scott and Oliver Stone have two very different directorial styles, and you can definitely feel Tarantino in TR more than Natural Born Killers since Stone's personality kind of overshadows Tranatino's dialog in NBK.TR also has one of Gary Oldman's best performances and Dennis Hopper...well being Dennis Hopper.

@p @CrayonEater yeah his short stories and more off the trail stuff is some of his best stuff. ive been scouring old zines from the 90s on archive.org...seems like every one has a Gibson interview lolYeah snocrash is fantastic but its got a lot of funny meta stuff in it poking fun at the genre. Stephenson is great tho. I just read Seven-eves. 10/10.

@p @CrayonEater Oh yeah man, hes one of us. The orginal idea for snow crash was for it to be kind of a fun interactive software thing on the computer. He found it time consuming I guess and decided against it but that would have been cool as all hell. Some of his other stuff, he gets so in depth with shit. like this last book of his I read he was going on about how certain things on the space station worked, fascinating stuff.

Also if you have never seen it Heathers is hilarious. It's one of, if not the original, angsty high school revenge flick, but it does it very well and doesn't feel cliched since nothing else hit quite the same way.Also I completely forgot Slater was in Archer. Real Genius is up there with Tombstone and True Romance.Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang is another good Kilmer film, written by legendary Lethal Weapon creator Shane Black. Kilmer does play a homo so that will be a dealbreaker for some here.

@judgedread Well, I suppose I'd have to see Breakfast Club to know for certain, but melodramatic pageantry and weed-style imaginings figured prominently in Capitol Records and, at least from my perspective, it would be hard to come up with two things that match the broad strokes.(I did watch Totally Killer and it was dopey but was somewhat better than expected: the zoomer time-travels to Gen-X days in order to prevent her mother's stabbing. The part of Doc Brown is played by a girl from a yogurt commercial but they put her in overalls.)
