       @0x4d6165@transfem.social ftr almost all of my work in this industry, with some exceptions, has been C, not C++. but there's definitely plenty of both. knowing both would benefit you well.assuming they are the same, or that it is safe to consider C a subset of C++ (which a lot of people will tell you it is), will not serve you in this industry.there's also a lot of defense and panopticon related jobs to avoid, they like embedded devs. but literally every electronic device needs embedded devs these days so there's tons of other stuff too
