So cardio fitness is measured in VO₂,max and the unit is ml O2 per minute per kg body mass which is a mouthful. I propose the switch to Sv/h instead; it expresses metabolic rate in a lot more straightforward way. 1 ml•min⁻¹•kg⁻¹ VO₂ is approximately 1.2 kSv/h assuming glucose metabolism (16kJ/g)

My fitness tracker told me my cardio fitness has risen to 46.3 kSv/h,max and my pocket gamma spectrometer gave me the background rate of 20 nSv/h, so I’m 12 orders of magnitude more chemical than nuclear
