       Folks, I'm not interested in ripping on my wife.We are separating with mutual compassion.Getting angry only makes things worse. There's no reason for it or benefit in it. Rage is easy, compassion is hard.

       @mwl hard agreeI mean, I only know you through (gestures vaguely around) all this, which is to say, mostly parasocially. But being a type of guy of a certain age, having seen various relationships play out, not least my own, I can say: I might hurt for you but I don't need to hate for you.You can be angry, without being angry at someone. (and even then, it's ok sometimes to be angry with someone without getting All Like That at and about them)and also to heck with there being just that one Approved Guy Emotion, anywayI mean, it's mostly sad, from here. It's not my grief, though, so what I've got for that is sympathy.
