It's been two weeks since Jeet&Jewtube changed their channel and subscription functions, and a week since a freelance programmer gave FreeTube devs the fix for the mess Jeet&Jewtube made. Why are FreeTube devs taking forever to push the hotfix off of development and to the public?

This has been a pattern

@branman65 They always do this when it comes to needing to push out hotfixes. Last time, last year in the autumn, it took two months for the fix to release, when the fix was available three weeks into the Jewtube screwing things up.The devs give FOSS a bad name.

Absolutely. There is a problem with unprofessionalism in FOSS

@branman65 >B-But if we treat the dev team like Silicon Valley and Redmond, we will be just like FAGTANGNo niggers! That is the main reason normalfags DON'T want to use FOSS. People would rather use proprietary than wait two months for a damn hotfix consisting of a couple of lines of code for software malfunctions that happen every other couple of months.

I don't get why so many FOSS types go out of their way to make their tech terrible.

what's going on with jeettube and the sub feed? On desktop I have a shortcut on my custom homepage that goes directly to the sub feed url (youtube.com/feed/subscriptions) and on mobile I use the program grayjay (I think there's a desktop version- Yep, there is: grayjay.app/desktop).

@striderpod They recently changed how the subscriptions and channel pages work in the backend, which screwed up all the third-party clients. Invidious was the first to fix itself within a couple of days. FreeTube's GitHub clearly shows that they knew the fix and accepted the pull of the guy who made the fix, but they won't publish a hot fix version. I don't know about the other clients.

There is a certain type of FOSS dude who thinks that if you want the program to be user friendly at all you're basically niggercattle
