       I feel like I should quote-post my correction (already edited into the original but edits are weird:I incorrectly believed that a certain user was a maintainer of flatpak.  The user in question has made a grand total of zero commits to the flatpak Github repository.  In the quoted post (which gained significant traction and let to more arguing on other threads), I made several assertions based on the incorrect belief that he represented the flatpak project.  I don't know for certain if he is involved in flatpak development in other ways, but I was wrong to portray him as a representative of the flatpak project.I want to formally apologize to the @FlatpakApps@fosstodon.org and @flathub@floss.social projects for any fedi meta that resulted from my mistake.RE: https://transfem.social/notes/amkt7djzjnza0009

       @2something @FlatpakApps @flathub all i can guess is its RHEL consolidation or they're hoping to integrate bwrap with some kind of API, otherwise i have no idea why flatpak does the things it does.casync and some light containering are all they need to do tbhedit: or somebody hoping for that (although my general bafflement at flatpak in general remains)
