       @eff @sfchronicle Met a young person yesterday.They defeat the age checks trivially.The #agecheck is to track adults.The fash have been trying to bring real id to the net for at least 20 years.Previously, they needed a court order to get the IP to the name from the ISP.

       @eff @sfchronicle What it actually says is eithera) government doesn't trust parents and carers to exercise, and teach their charges about, responsibility (which in some cases may be true, but does not justify disempowering the majority that do), orb) government just wants a plausible vehicle with which to enforce total identity tracking.Neither is good.
