       @malwaretech Well said, and it's absolutely a potentially chilling effect on research. Those who though they would go through the responsible disclosure process and hope to be rewarded for their time and effort might want to think twice 😟

       @malwaretech i might be overthinking it but i do think it's notable it coincides with the big media push for Mythossimilar to how the RAM/Disk/components price spikes can be seen through the lens of big tech trying to kill personal computer ownership for renting everything in the cloud, i think this _could_ be seen at a shot across the bow of being able to do anything at all with the software that the publisher doesn't give express permission to dokind of a super DMCA
