       @tj sweet.  I had mother in law write "Mom" in her handwriting and want to etch it in to a step stool I plan on making out of Ash wood for my wife.Might fill with epoxy, don't think I will do wood inlay

       @tj it would depend on how good the laser cuts through veneer? Maybe?I've never used laser cutter
