       @canmom@icosahedron.website sound on openbsd is much simplier, sane and logical, however wifi harder, many more drivers on linux

       @brettm sndio is pretty good for basic usage. but for audio production it's still not that usable imo (mostly because of the lack of software support).@canmom

       @gettie@fedi.catto.garden @canmom@icosahedron.website yes i agree it more for everyday use. exception is the guy who wrote/maintains it, he used to run a studio or something (maybe still does idk) and he wrote his own software to use sndio and friends

       @brettm i mean, i didn't say it's unusable for more professional work. but personally i have noticed some underrun issues with the low-latency mode. also i wish mixxx supported sndio as well.@canmom
