No, outside of Germany it's what people know of and want to see. Quaint little villages and impressive castles in the Black Forest. Maybe the Oktoberfest and the Berlin Wall.

I wanted to drop by his mountain retreat that's now a tourist spot with a restaurant but they make you park about an hour away and take a bus to get to the top, screw that noise.

@Paleface @teto I'm biased because where I'm from we have the biggest Oktoberfest outside of Germany, but oktoberfest is the biggest one, with no other even close.I genuinely thought that Lederhose was typical in all of Germany

I was on a train leaving Kaiserslautern once and a guy was talking to me and he was trying to explain east Germans and was struggling to find an English word and was like "they are uh...how would one say...uhhh country people, they are..."
