       @technolyze I actually do that to people a lot - I'll follow back and then realize they post porn or something else I don't like so much and unfollow. It's not like a personal judgement or anything, usually I'm viewing it as "I am personally not able to handle whatever is being presented without getting uppity, so I remove myself so I don't trouble anyone", but it doesn't impact whether I'm willing to chat or interact outside those instances

       @Maroon @technolyze meh I don't think it's really a big deal either way. Sometimes I'll go into a person's profile, sometimes I get distracted or don't have time or the wherewithal, it just depends. Broadly speaking I don't think people should treat follow/unfollow as some kind of referendum on their personality which takes a lot of the edge off in both directions
