       I still get out the magic cards for guys night every once in a while but I'm nearly full time FaB now.1) I think Omens is a deliberate attempt to temporarily power down the game, and I think it's going to work better than expected, AND I think it's a good idea.2) I think there's a fifty percent chance Aurora 2 is better than people think she is, and like an 80% chance Zyggy is better than most people think he is.3) Format looks really fun in limited but also hard to play.4) people whine about this game way too much, my God.5) I think they need to print a wizard or two that is mediocre and just let wizard take a back seat for a while, or it's just going to become Wizard the game.  Peope were complaining about Runeblade the game, and they printed a new aurora that is probably just "old aurora but fixed by being made worse" and NOW people are complaining about that.  They need to print a similar thing in wizard.  Instead they gave Oscillio a new hero in every format that might be better than his first incarnation, who hasn't been retired yet, plus a whole set featuring him.  6) For the love of God, please print a Ranger this year.  (This point could be a whole rant).

       >I think Omens is a deliberate attempt to temporarily power down the game, and I think it's going to work better than expected, AND I think it's a good idea.If this is the case, it is a wise decision--looking at how Magic is power creeping hard.The sets themselves aren't power creeping (talking about Magic here still), but a card or two in each set will be a better version than a previous--even a recent!--card, and so Commander power creeps.I've stepped out of Standard after the increase to SEVEN sets each year. My personal distaste of mixing Marvel's New York in with what was Magic's aesthetic of elves and dwarves and castles is another reason.And it's another reason I've glanced sideways over toward Flesh and Blood 😂 Might go see how popular the F&B night is at some local stores, after I get some home projects completed.

       one hundred percent if you do buy product, get a silver age deck (or an old blitz deck if you can find one) and a few boosters, don't buy the expensive singles right away because you would need to break the 3-400 dollar mark for a Standard deck anyway, and those expensive singles aren't legal in the "introduction for new players format"
