       @meeper So, flatpak and snap are basically solutions to apt being shit. I actually don't begrudge them for not wanting to try to work with apt.If you are not using apt, you basically don't need either of those.

       @Zergling_man not really, maybe snap but idk how it works.Essentially flapak is a combination of two things a less retarted version of the android style of isolation (necessary to prevent apps you don't trust to sell your ~/Pictures/Camera/feet) Plus a common runtime thay proprietary slop can depend on, so basically allows you to do whatwver the shit in your arch or even alpine and everythinf else just werks.Problem with flapak is that you kinda have to package everythijg to use this and you can separate the functionality(ig u can rawdog bwrap)
