The arcade in the suburb I grew up in closed down two years back. That whole mall is just sad now. There's still a Dave in Busters in the single non-failing mall in the entire county. Do those count?Oh an three years back I taught a taught a dance class with a friend in Louisville and they had something like a Dave and Busters that was packed; lots of old and new arcade games, VR, pinball and skiball.

are they? I never check my investments, but I've checked DDR5 prices daily for months (seriously; I must hate myself 😩).It still looks bad; like over $10/GB for the cheapest. nvme has stabilized a bit, and it's not as bad as ram, but it's still not great.

@Xenomorph Nvidia will work you just have to do more research which distros make it hassle free. Back in 2018 I used popOS just because they had a premade ISO with Nvidia drivers

if you had to buy a 1TB nvme and 16GB of DDR5 to build a desktop now, it'd cost 350EUR or more, valve probably doesn't pay as much per GB for a large volume order but still it's a huge chunk of the cost
