       why does the c programming language abbreviate the standard library functions so much??like what's the point of naming it sqrt, when you could have just named it squirt

       @pierogiburo Seriously it's too high effort to type more characters on a teleprinter.There would be fun with longer names, but anyway I'm glad that's not due to e.g. hashing by string length.
