       When I went outside this morning, quite some people in prayer clothing passed by. But I only realised it is a Muslim holiday today when the mosque I passed was so full that people were lining up in neatly prayer lines on the pavement outside of it.

       The weird thing with Muslim holidays is that I only know the Dutch names, and not the Arabic names. Today is probably Offerfeest, because Suikerfeest was in March.

       @smveerman I worked in an office in India with a very anti-BJP owner, so of course Muslim holidays were also celebrated, though they were just collectively referred to as “Eid”
