       @tj thank goodness we went to the speed queen the last time the washer died.  It uses the correct amount of water has analog dials and two digital pads for deep fill and start.Good luck with the smart machine.

       @tj I have an ancient (Montgomery Wards) washing machine & dryer - both require you to turn the knob almost a full turn to repeat the last cycle. On the dryer, all of the "auto" functions don't work - bad sensor?My more modern dishwasher - you press the start button twice. Once to turn it on and once to start the last cycle.I kind of wish they all did something like the dishwasher.
