For the longest time I craved stability, or at the very least, the perception of stability because of this. After 10 years I've come to accept essentially everything in my life as transient, which I think very much informs both my philosophical and political outlook.I don't want to be stuck mourning over lost friends and could haves. If I leave a place I'll surely find another, and that which follows along merely has a glue that sticks harder than the others.Maybe it's not a good mindset but it's the only way I can cope. A family death that's half a year ago yet still feels fresh, recent and vivid permanently altered my outlook on life even further.Idk where this spontaneous wall of text came from but there were some feelings bottling up that I managed to get out just now so thanks for indulging me.

I abandon hope the moment it falters. I am scared to get too close because I feel an inevitable severing weighing upon me like a nightmare.Even my problems feel transient and impossible to pin down. Ghosts haunting me, coming and going, like a town desperately preparing for a blizzard that may or may not come, a blizzard with snow which eventually will melt away, an equally substantial yet hollow threat.

@fiore@brain.worm.pink @Alsvid@brain.worm.pink I'm trying to get proper anxiety treatment again, last time they told me to get lost, hopefully me saying anxiety literally made me incapable of working a job will make them take me seriously, because last time me having good grades was grounds for dismissing me (wtf???)honestly I just want something short term please just write me a prescription for a tranquiliser or something so I can not die in exam season 😭

@nagirin @fiore Medical professionals are so useless in cases like this. I also had a similar problem and one psychologist told me to get another job and get fresh air(?)(!). They always talk about overmedicating people but nowadays it's like pulling teeth to get even a basic remedy for cases like yours! I'm really sorry they treated you that way, and I hope you get the relief you need.
