       @fdroidorg@floss.social tried F-Droid Basic, it can't auto-install updates? even with the privileged extension installed (that was previously working with the classic F-Droid app)? ​:aqua_cry:​

       @Albirew Both F-Droid and Basic are able to update apps unattended on Android 12+ for a few years already. The Priviledge Extension has limited compatibility with Android 11 and later anyway. If you have the extension, please toggle it off, and try normally. If you're on Android 11 or older, yeah keep using that if that still works.
