       Is adhd actually an easy disorder to have or have you been conditioned to not have sympathy for people with adhd because a lot of disability activism is predicated on separating disabled people from hypothetical lazy loser parasites that you're allowed to hate and it's hard to do that with people with adhd?

       @casinofem in the case of ADHD in particular, I feel like a lot of this comes from the cuteification/infantilization inherent to "neurospicy" social media influencer culture. namely, the idea that ADHD (and autism) are these quirky teehee manic pixie disabilities that need little in the way of real accommodation because all they do is make someone stim and talk about trains a lot. when the reality is that what's being shown are people economically privileged enough to be able to live with constant accommodation.
