       Accidently rebooted my #homeassistant machine while it was doing updates - and now it is existing in a half-broken state.Time to actually install HAOS on that thing, or virtualize the installation completely.

       @selea you can easily restore from a backup. It will keep all the configurations and data. So just reinstall and during installation upload your backup.

       I managed to repair it somehow.Now I can postpone the HAOS installation for another month :P

       @selea I advice against it. If you install HAOS you loose control of your device entirely. Forget root, you don't even get a shell (on the actual host system, escaping from the nest of dockers).

       @selea I currently have two (soon 3) instances of HAOS running as a VM under #OpenWRT on a Sophos XG-86Wr1: everything runs smoothly !Just make sure the MQTT server runs on the openWRT part.

       @askarel Nice, I run zigbee2mqtt in HA directly - and the zigbee device itself is a SMLIGHT.tech device, so personally - I think that a VM with configured HA (and Dynamic Load Balancing) in proxmox should be enough for me :)
