       @stux I have the same frustration when the BBC or PBS's top news story is about "the negotiations".  Trump and Co. are so bad at negotiating that there are no real negotiations. It's mostly showbiz on the US side and clever manipulation on the other.

       @stux It's stock market manipulation. He'll let his cronies know when he's about to post something claiming Peace Is At Hand so they can buy shorts on oil futures or bet on the prediction markets just before the announcement. Then he'll make threatening noises to make the market move the other way. Since he has no idea how to fix things, it seems he has decided to just profit off of the chaos.
