       It's not normally a good idea to share internal security processes, but I did want to offer the funniest trivia in my work to fight spam - I just added gamepad support to my spam-fighting client, meaning I'm literally using a joystick and buttons to do the work.Turns out, if you can consolidate part of your job to an Xbox controller, you can speed it up significantly.

       @textfiles heh, about 15 years ago I tried to convince people to build a "game style" interface for a geographic tagging training data task - I got the concept across but noone really had any idea *how*.  So I feel a tiny bit vindicated and would adore an eventual behind-the-scenes when the time is right.  (I'm also curious if you included sound-effects, but that's just that *everyone* wants to push a button and hear spammers explode or scream :-)

       @textfiles I did something similar when I had to work with a badly configured SIEM system which produced many useless alarms. I used an Xbox Controller in combination with AHK (Auto Hot Keys) to go through the emails and alarms a lot faster.Of course without telling my colleagues. Since I got no promotion or wage increase anyway, absolutely no reason to share with anyone.When I had tickets/alarms shift I was done much much earlier than them and enjoyed the rest of the day with more fun tasks.
