       hey does anyone know an openrc-based linux distro that isn't a hellhole for the non-hax0rs like me (aka one that isn't overtly complicated nor super technical)?

       @snugglybun it seems devuan is the easiest? https://www.devuan.org/(You could also install openrc directly in debian but it's more complicated https://wiki.debian.org/OpenRC )Looking at the list on wikipedia it's the only non-technical os that I recognize ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/OpenRC#Adoption ) but you can look at the others if you're more advanced than I presume

       @bunni i do worry that since it's debian-based (at least from what i've read) there would be a lot of outdated packages x_x

       @brettm idk if postmarketOS is meant for PCs, it seemed to be more a phone thing.but maybe i'm wrong x_x

       It is based on Alpine Linux, but I suggested postmarketOS as it has desktop system ready-to-go, afaik you have to set it all up yourself with Alpine so requires more technical knowledge. Enjoy!
