       @dangillmor on the down side, this is horrifically anti-competitive behaviour, on the up side, it does mean that meta sees pixelfed as a material threat to their business model.

       @dangillmor I'd say it's a good news, because this means pixelfed is an actual threat to them. Also the forbidden fruit tastes better.

       @dangillmor I don’t see that the fediverse is a competitor to Meta. Fediverse is a social network. Meta and their products are not.
