       Feature I'd really like in a music app: Shuffle playlist, except some songs should always occur together. Sometimes tracks are meant to run together and it's really jarring to completely switch gears in the middle of the pair.

       @stellarskylark@solarpunk.moe I hate to say this, but what you're likely describing (from what I can tell) is playing mp3 files by album with randomization for the album.

       @lyrial No, not exactly. I mean having an eclectic playlist, combining many songs from many albums but having the ability to mark a particular pair of songs as "locked together" so they shuffle as a single unit. Like when one track is "part 1" and the other is "part 2".I guess I could do that by having them be their own separate album and then shuffle by album (though I have never seen that feature in anything I use) but that's jank as all hell

       @stellarskylark@solarpunk.moe It would take work, but you can do all of that by making playlists of files that are more or less groups of songs, then randomizing them. I do this in my car.
