It's crazy how Homelander was written as this anti-Trump parody, yet failed so miserably at it despite there being so many things to legitimately ridicule Trump for - of course, a Jew show wouldn't be in a position to roast Trump for his *actual* flaws :Drumpf_juju_coom: FFS, the one thing you provably CAN'T accuse Trump of is lacking physical courage, because we've fucking seen him react to literally getting shot in real time, so Homelander exposing himself as a coward just doesn't work as Trump-bashing. @ArdainianRight Even assuming that it was staged (I don't think it was for a second), Trump still took a bullet a few inches from his brain and responded like pre-ruination Eren Yeager. And even if THAT doesn't count, he's been faced with potential assassinations before as well, and always responded with Fight rather than Flight (though those incidents seem to be memory holed by the MSM).

That's what makes this new version of The Odyssey so infuriating. They probably couldn't get Zendaya as she's probably booked solid for 5 years just on Dune sequels, so they got Lupita Nyongo (sp?) instead of just finding some Mediterranean enough looking model to read the tiny bit of dialogue they needed for a Helen of Troy.It's like commercial film-making is a lost art or something.
