I have repeatedly been told that various works I think are straight terrible are people's favorite things... all the artist usually sees is the errors, to someone who likes it they never even notice

@KDE the thing is that 2hat we see is the final product that and the end it may not look terrible, and maybe when the artist see it he/she can only see the errors

@KDE For any artist, being your own hardest critic is both a necessity for growth and a curse.

@KDE What I call the curse of the creator is: never been able to enjoy one's own creations, due to having spent too long working on them to know everything about it.

@KDE Well i can tell you that it's really hard to see errors in your projects. You put so much work and care to it, there are very little few creators like you. How many animations you already done - and you been able to think of plot for all of them, and your attention to detail is precious. Besides, i honestly think that like 80% of your works are really good. And this comes from a guy who is really hard on details and plot.

@KDE For a creator, they see a thousand flaws in their work. For the audience, they only see one flaw and its that the creator isn't loving their work as much as they are.I understand the feeling of feeling like your work isn't good enough or terrible but you gotta learn to love your work despite the flaws. Being your own critic is a blessing and a curse. Just know you are a good artist. Don't beat yourself up over the mistakes. You can always learn from them.

@KDE When you create something, you notice tiny flaws that nobody else even sees or they don't even pay attention to it...I think that’s normal...many people who do artistic work are usually overly critical of themselves...plus people like different things...one may like something you don't just because you use a character they like and things like this...in the end, your work is amazing and even the things you think are "bad" are acually liked by the people :blobcatartist:

Oh OK... this was in response to this post by https://baraag.net/@bakanimator/116621468004548237 - seems I didn't click reply lol... So yeah wasnt coming out of nowhere - was in response that seeking validation is a trap (it is) and things you think are bad, plenty of people will like even if they say nothingRT: https://baraag.net/users/bakanimator/statuses/116621468004548237

@KDE I've long been a fan of your work! I'm just terrible at replying to posts due to my schedule. But your work is awesome and I hope someday to match your level of skill!
