       I know you're not supposed to take ADHD meds every day, it's very likely bad in the medium/long term.But uuuugh, I am so non-functional without them, it's so frustrating, I hate it.Even on them it's still rough and I'm on a pretty high dose, ugh.I really wish it was more manageable....

       @lethalbit i take mine every day now its been a drastic net improvementi talked with my doc about my years of awful history with "tolerance breaks" and he pointed me at recent research that that's not necessary for therapeutic doses + you can potentially find a fixed constant working dosage of a good med and stay on it every day for years and be continuously functionalconcerta/ritalin is far better for me side-effects-wise than adderall was which has made the side effects far more manageableimo if you need it daily to function then take it daily

       @qualia Yeah, my dr was mainly worried about high bp, especially as my dose is quite high (40mg of Adderall ER), and I tried most of the other options and they didn't do much, and the dex consistently gave me a horrible ick an hour or two after taking it every single time, But yeah, he was extra worried about the bp stuff because we're gonna try adding atomoxetine on top of it to try to help a bit more, because even just the adderall alone can be pretty hit or miss with it*shrug* dunno,

       @lethalbit aye, gotcha. fwiw it seemed like i needed dose increases because of my breaks, so, worth experimenting with maybe. you may find a dose reduction helps if u achieve a continuous balance instead of spikinesses.gooluck!!
