@djsumdog @theorytoe @dielan I'll mention Navidrome as well. It enables streaming from your homelab and has shuffle features and the like. FLAC and ALAC support is iffy, but everything else has worked wonderfully for me surprisingly.

@djsumdog @theorytoe @dielan Eh... keeping your music synced with a solution like that isn't really feasible unless you like disassembling your phone every time you want to listen to a new album. Most phones also don't have SD card slots at *all*. Main reason I tried Navidrome was due to switching to iPhone.

I specifically look for microSD when buying phones, as well as the ability to remove all things Google from it. Sony is still fairly solid for both. That was quick it was only 5 tracksNext up is even shorter. This CD only has two tracks in it. I got this at TennoCon 2025, it's a fictional boyband in the game that has a collection of eldritch abomination clones that you fight with the games nemesis system. Everybody at the TennoCon 2025 concert knew all the words when they played this live. It's a shame Destiny 2 doesn't do anything cool like that for their players :smug4:

While that's ripping here's some CDs I took out of the bin that are already rippedThe first two are Protomen albums. This band is so unserious. It's basically a dramatic rock opera about the plot of Mega Man. I saw this band live and it was awesome. The regulars at the bar (this was at El Corazon in Seattle) looked at the crowd in disgust as we all sang along to this nerdy shitNo CD collection is complete without Daft Punk's Discovery, and on the right is Glitch Mob's first album Drink the Sea. Which was basically the soundtrack of my first tech job, which was IT at a local college, where the most senior technician got to set up the Pandora station. So I heard just about every single song on this album before buying it for myself lol
