@ariadneI worked on seeing up HA once, and there was an update that did some nonsense like that, and I just shut it down. I didn't feel like turning my house into a fidget spinner any longer. I like the idea, but the return on my invested time was getting dumb for a handful of devices.

@ariadne I'm in a similar boat with @homeassistant I hadn't updated in over a year so thoughtlessly updated. Turns out the new version tracks solar power production as consumption as well as production now? Which makes it impossible to see totals on hourly usage that make any kind of sense.When I looked into whatever setting changed that I need to un-change, the impression I also got was the developers were quite dismissive, and "know better".So I also reverted and will never update again. It works fine as-is.
