       @Fash-E There are two kinds of 1-thousand-hour games:- Hyper-monetized, match-making-maxxed live service garbage.- Hyper-autistic games like Terraria and Factorio.Both ruin your life.

       Steam sometimes just wipes playtime from my account.  Achievements, cosmetics, etc. are all intact, but playtime is reset to zero. Rimworld is the only game above 1000 hrs on my account but I've put more hours into Terraria and TF2. Hell it has zero playtime on FF7 and I've beaten it twice. And it's not just old games, either.  It happened to a game I bought last year. No pattern that I can see other than it happening after I don't play the game for a while. I'm not so much bothered by it as I am... very confused.

       when origin turned into EA App, they wiped all the playtime and saves for my old games, Origin and Uplay single player games should only be pirated I swear to god

       I have a handful i would or have written positive reviews for. Despite Paraslop getting deservedly pantsed ever week, Victoria 3 has actually been turned into a really interesting spreadsheet, I mean video game. But most of what's still good is iterations on something actually ancient (see: the reworks of old AoE games).Until the slow death began I was a *dedicated* D2 player, but Bungie raped the games body so hard and so frequently that the only thing D2 players love more than D2 is bitching about D2

       D2 players fell into three categories: weekend warriors who didn't even touch difficult content. Try hards who wanted to be good at everything but werent (I am here). And no lifers who had one hobby/whales/content creators.Corporate greed made bunghole think it had to simultaneously appeal to category one and category three (not really possible) but failed to realize that the loyalty was in category two, and that's where they lost.Sorry, /rant

       The only game I have time to play online nowadays is Deep Rock Galactic. So far, none of the updates/DLC have been too egregious.
