       @green@mk.absturztau.be in the muppets universe, the muppets are canonically actors. in the muppets film, they have canonically made a film. and we're watching that film. the film is not about the muppets universe, but from the muppets universe. there's a production mistake that implies Kermit caused 9/11. but because the movie exists in the muppets universe, it's a production mistake in that universe. so in The Muppets Canon, Kermit probably didn't cause 9/11. but in the muppets universe, it is taken for fact that the fictional character Kermit did, in fact, cause 9/11 (but it's a production mistake in the universe, but that's not relevant if you're doing a textual analysis (but in the media we watch, the production is part of the media, so our textual analysis can conclude that there was a fictional production mistake) but it's actually a real life production mistake)))
