@fiore i work for a company that grows through sheer size and by buying out competition and it happens to be the rare union shop,except one subsidiary that when a bunch of the employees tried to unionize, the union just decided it didnt want them. employment is a lot more stable and benefits are better bc the union is a legitimate union but it comes with the standard amount of corruption and theres never elections for union leadership without an incumbent. when someone in leadership decides theyre done, they quit mid-term, pick someone to take their place, and then they run as an incumbent when the election finally comes around

@fiore they are used to being paid enough that they don't need to have solidarity.Also, I think office culture is precision manufactured to make you hate your coworkers and believe that whatever you're doing is deeply pointless. Which again makes solidarity very difficult.
