       I've never understood this weird modern American "right-wing" notion that if you don't tip, then you're a nigger. Here in Europe, and in civilized countries like Japan, the mentality is different. And there was actually a time when tipping was frowned upon in the US as well.

       I'm starting to think the tipping scene in resovior dogs was based off a real event between Taratino and some other guys.Because Quentin Tarantino is exactly the kind of guy to not only not tip, he'd spend 10 minutes trying to argue against it (until some big guy told him he was gonna kick his ass if he didn't throw in a dollar.)

       My brother used to date a waitress. I remember her saying something like those girls working at the higher end restaurants can make 50-70K but those chicks working in a diner probably make 30K if that. And also many times the owner will demand the tips be split with everyone else (bus boys, cooks) so it's not always that great.
