       tbh at this point i'm pretty sure that even a shitty non-american company is gonna be a better place to put your anything than any american company with an international presencelike, ppl keep complaining about fedi being kind of a hetzner monoculture, but bloody hell at least it's not all cloudflare or whatever

       @spacekatia there’s a worrying amount of instances behind CF. i don’t have data, but i’ve seen way too many. and it’s not the majority purely because AP makes it almost pointless..i feel like fedi admins have a lot of power that they’re not exercising when it comes to picking a small provider
